PRODUCER, WRITER, DIRECTOR

Jane produced the wildly popular lesbian romance, ELENA UNDONE, and wrote, produced, directed and edited the hard-hitting drug film METH HEAD and the quirky cult horror comedy, CRAZY BITCHES. Those features, along with her eight short films have earned numerous awards and nominations on the festival circuit.

 

She has worked with actors such as Lukas Haas, David Arquette, Tom Sizemore, Candis Cayne, Necar Zadegan and Wilson Cruz, Emmy-winning sound wizard, Andy D'Addario ("Mozart in the Jungle"), Emmy-winning DP Per Larsson ("The Amazing Race") and composer Curt Smith (co-founder - Tears for Fears).

 

Recent experience extends into VR with a horror short based on her feature script DON'T COME OVER and the digital tv series medium with a spin-off of her horror comedy feature, CRAZY BITCHES. Seasons one & two are currently streaming on multiple platforms including Tubi.

 

Her work has been reviewed as “Oscar-nomination worthy,” “hypnotizing,” “hauntingly graphic,” “intriguing, provocative and harsh,” “compassionate,” “intelligent,” “well-conceived,” “A-plus,” “well-crafted,” and “infused with a welcome level of depth.”

MAREM HASSLER

PRODUCER

Marem began her career in front of the camera in film, TV, theatre and world-wide commercials. 

​

In recent years, she has pursued her filmmaker roots as a writer/director/producer of several short films and has been gaining a deeper knowledge of filmmaking through  work as a first AC, operator and shooter.

 

Marem has won several awards for her work in front and behind the camera and has just wrapped shooting her first feature ,PEN PALS, as writer/director/producer. She is the co-founder of Prickly Pears Films in the US with her producing partner Ainara Landons, and  recently founded Tatendrang Films in Switzerland with her sister.

 

She is a creative nomad, calling London and LA equally the closest to home.

LANDON

PRODUCER

Born in Spain, where she graduated from Universidad Autonoma de Madrid with a degree in law, she began pursuing her career in acting by studying at Cristina Rota Acting School. This pursuit lead her to 

move to LA in where she worked as an actress while also taking an interest in the production process.

Over the years she has been in the production department in many independents films, shorts, and commercials.
She is the co-founder of Prickly Pears Films, a production company that works to demonstrate creativity, vision and tenacity to create quality independent films and other content within various levels of resources.

​

 In the last few years she has co-produced “Brutal” by Samuel McConnell, “La Corriente” by Jesus Lloveras, and produced “Marco Polo” by Pablo Riesgo and “Penpals” by Marem Hassler.

MARKO
ALONSO

CINEMATOGRAPHER

Marko is a Spanish cinematographer based in Los Angeles. He has two features under his belt, MARCO POLO starring Spanish actor Omar Banana, and LOVE, BEES AND FUCKERY

starring WITCHY WAYS lead Marem Hassler.

 

He has DP’d a number of shorts, with TIRO DOMINICAL being one of the most recognized for screening in the Saint Louis International Film Festival, winning the Fort Lauderdale Int’l Film Festival in the comedy section and being showcased on Omeleto, a curated short film showcase on YouTube with millions of subscribers.

 

He has also shot numerous episodes for TRAVELSCOPE, a travel show that has aired on PBS and has won six Emmys. Through this show Marko won a Telly award for cinematography for an episode he shot in Vietnam and Cambodia.
